Job Description:

As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, successful candidates will collaborate closely with children on the Autism spectrum, providing them with the essential support they need to thrive academically and socially. Responsibilities include facilitating tailored learning plans and implementing dynamic teaching methodologies to meet the unique needs of each child. Working alongside experienced educators, Teaching Assistants will foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating seamlessly with accomplished classroom educators to deliver targeted support designed for students across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with special educational needs.
  • Implementing tailored learning plans, employing dynamic teaching methodologies to address the unique needs of each child.
  • Cultivating an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere, prioritizing the social and emotional well-being of every student.
  • Actively engaging in stimulating classroom activities, ensuring the participation and enthusiasm of each child in their educational journey.
  • Fostering strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals, ensuring a holistic and cooperative approach to each child's development.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrating proven experience working with children in an educational setting across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  • Illustrating a profound understanding of special educational needs, showcasing adaptability in implementing effective teaching approaches.
  • Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering seamless collaboration with dedicated teaching staff, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Exuding patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of each child.
