HYBRID, 2 DAYS A WEEK TRAVEL AROUND THE SOUTH
Description:
Key to the success of this role is the ability to inspire, coach and support apprentices to successfully achieve their apprenticeship standard and goals to become the best version of themselves. This role will proactively visit apprentices at their normal place of work to provide the right stretch and challenge to further develop the apprentice’s new workplace skills, knowledge, and behaviours. This role will liaise and engage confidently with the apprentice’s line manager throughout the duration of the apprenticeship to capture all evidence and impact the new learning has had on the individual and business.
Main duties:
- To build open and honest professional relationships with apprentices and line managers
- To create and develop an open and diverse culture of learning which helps apprentices to be the best version of themselves.
- To provide support during regular workplace visits to identify and evidence the impact of the learning.
- To provide effective, clear, and regular communication (face to face and virtual) with all apprentices within your caseload.
To identify areas where you can provide stretch activities which will grow the learners’ capabilities aligned with the relevant apprenticeship standard/s and their business needs.

Personal Specification
- Working in hotels, restaurants, bars or events as a manager Preferable to demonstrate an understanding of and working within apprenticeships
- Preferable operational experience in management and leadership roles
- Experience of working and coaching a diverse number of people
- High quality and customer service background
- One-to-one workplace coaching skills
- Outstanding Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to create a culture of respect, diversity, inclusion, and fun
- Qualification
- Degree, equivalent qualification, or evidence of equivalent experience
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent Level 3 CIPD or equivalent of learning practice
