Role Overview: As the Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners. Leading the classroom with creativity and enthusiasm, you will design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of Key Stage 1 students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume the role of head of the classroom, orchestrating dynamic and immersive learning experiences for Key Stage 1 students.
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to various learning styles, ensuring every child’s individual needs are met.
  • Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment conducive to social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and parents to provide holistic support and ensure the well-being and progress of each student.
  • Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and stakeholders in the educational process.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold relevant qualifications and experience in Primary Education, with a focus on Key Stage 1 teaching.
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in lesson planning, with a passion for delivering interactive and stimulating learning experiences.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Show empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting children with diverse needs, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, EAL, and ESOL.

Location and Hours: Located in the dynamic community of Edmonton, our school offers a supportive and collaborative environment where educators can thrive. This full-time position entails working hours from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, providing ample opportunities to make a positive impact on young learners’ lives.
