Year 3 Class Teacher
 

Always Flourishing are working in partnership with a warm and welcoming Primary School in Slough are looking for an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join them in their lovely school. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a drive to be a fantastic and committed KS2 Teacher. Aside from that, the successful Year 3 Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and plan work in accordance with schemes of work and national curriculum requirements, including subject expertise.
• Take account of children’s prior levels of attainment and progress and use them to set future target.
• Maintain good order and discipline, by modelling behaviour and following the school’s behaviour policies and procedures, that encourages a sense of responsibility and consideration for other.
• Ensure punctuality and establish a purposeful working atmosphere during all learning activities.
• Maintain excellent classroom management with due regard to health and safety policies.
• Set appropriate and challenging work for all children.
• Identify and work appropriately with SEND children, more able, Pupil Premium and any other vulnerable groups of children.
• Learning environment is stimulating and supportive of teaching and learning.

Skills and Qualifications:

• PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
• Experience of managing a range of approaches to behaviour, including managing behaviours that challenge.
