Role Overview:

As a full-time EYFS Teacher, you'll be at the forefront of nurturing and guiding young learners through their formative years. Embrace the joy of teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage, where every day presents new opportunities for discovery and growth. Your proficiency in English and Maths, combined with a deep understanding of the UK curriculum, will be vital as you lead your class through foundational learning experiences. Additionally, your expertise in ESOL or TEFL will be a valuable asset, particularly as you support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead with creativity and enthusiasm, fostering a positive and nurturing classroom environment that sparks curiosity and inspires learning.
  • Craft engaging lessons that cater to the unique needs and interests of each child, fostering their development across all areas of learning.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow educators and support staff to provide targeted interventions and support for students requiring additional assistance.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with parents and caregivers, inviting them to be active participants in their child's educational journey.
  • Celebrate and assess students' progress, using a variety of assessment methods to tailor your teaching and ensure every child reaches their full potential.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience as an EYFS Teacher, coupled with a genuine passion for early childhood education and development.
  • Strong proficiency in English and Maths, with the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons that lay the foundation for future learning.
  • Certification in ESOL or TEFL is highly advantageous, enhancing your ability to support students with diverse linguistic backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues alike.

Location and Hours:

Nestled in Finchley, our school offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where both students and staff thrive. This full-time position operates from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, providing you with ample opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.
