About Us: Teach Now is thrilled to present an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming school community in the heart of Hendon, London. Our client school boasts a rich history, a diverse student population, and a commitment to providing quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment. With convenient access to public transportation via the Tube and Bus routes, our school is easily accessible for both staff and students.

Position Overview: As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of young learners in the appropriate year group. You will deliver engaging and creative lessons, tailored to meet the needs of individual students and inspire a lifelong love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and differentiated lessons in accordance with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Utilize innovative teaching strategies and resources to engage students in active learning experiences and promote academic progress.
  • Conduct ongoing assessment and feedback to monitor student progress and inform instructional planning, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration to support student achievement and well-being.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies and promote positive behavior, creating a safe and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
  • Proven experience working with Key Stage 1 students in an educational setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to promoting inclusive practice, equality, and diversity in the classroom.
