Job Role: SEN Teacher

Location: Wakefield

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £180 - £250

I am currently working with a fantastic alternative provision on an exciting new SEN teaching position in the Wakefield area.

Starting immediately, the school are looking for an outstanding SEN teacher to join them on a temporary basis.

This position will be to work with a range of learners. You will be required to teach a range of subjects. The most important thing is your approach and attitude to teaching young people who have struggled with mainstream education.

The School:

The school caters for learners who have complex social, emotional, and mental health needs and many who have additional severe learning and communication difficulties. The highly dedicated team of staff provide high levels of consistency and care for the children they look after.

What you will need:

• Experience working as a qualified teacher
• Expert behaviour management and have a range of techniques
• Experience working with learners with a range of needs
• The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
• These young people need consistency and so you need to be able to commit to working for a long period of time
