Responsibilities:

As an Early Years teacher, you will help shape the minds of young people. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering creative, hands-on lessons aligned to the national curriculum for Year 2 students.
• Assess students regularly to gauge skills and knowledge, providing extra help to those who need it.
• Create a warm, nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe and cared for.
• Work collaboratively with parents, other staff and senior leadership to ensure children are receiving the best education possible.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will need:

• An Enhanced DBS Check or be willing to complete one.
• QTS or other relevant teaching qualifications.
• Previous experience within a school setting.
• A patient, caring personality and love for early childhood education.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Location: Headington, Oxfordshire
