Salary: £18,720.00-£24,500.00 per year

Sports Coach Key Responsibilities: 

• Deliver high quality Physical Education lessons and extra-curricular clubs, including Active Plus wraparound care. 
• Deliver our specialist educational programmes - Maths on the Move. 
• Mentoring and upskilling school teaching staff in the delivery of physical education. 
• Delivering high quality sports activities at our Active Holiday Camps during school holidays. 
• Communicate effectively with partners and customers to consistently deliver a world class service 
• Attending meetings, workshops and training sessions, both internally and externally as required. 
• Complete key administrative tasks such as planning, assessment and participation tracking. 
• Other ad-hoc duties as directed by the needs of the business. 

Sports Coach Essentials: 

• A valid Enhanced DBS / willingness to undergo DBS check. 
• First Aid Certificate 
• Level 3 Certificate in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport, Sports Coach Level 4 Qualification OR a degree in education / sports coaching 
• Level 2 Multi-Skills qualification 
• Experience in working within an educational setting 
• Experience working with children/ working in schools: 1 year (required) 
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle (required) 

Sports Coach Desirables: 

• 'Coaching and Mentoring' adults 
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate 
• Safeguarding Certificate 
• PESS Level 5 Certificate 
• QTS status 
• Gymnastics qualification 

You’ll have a background in PE and School Sport, ideally holding qualifications that demonstrate your expertise and experience. You’ll be driven and motivated to deliver a world class service, relishing the opportunity to demonstrate your passion for delivering high quality PE and School Sport services within our partner schools and communities. With great organisational skills and time management, you will effectively prioritise tasks and solve problems, showing initiative whilst being a team player!
