The role - PE Teacher

We are currently seeking a qualified PE Teacher for an AP Sports Academy in Hackney. The ideal candidate will have QTS, prior experience teaching PE to students, and a strong understanding of the GCSE PE curriculum. The role requires a dedicated PE Teacher to lead a diverse range of PE lessons, particularly focusing on engaging students who may not typically participate, and to drive increased participation across the school. This is a long-term position starting immediately.

The school is an AP sports academy for students in KS3/4 in the Hackney area, offering a preventative program to support students with their behaviour. Academic progress and personal development are their primary focus, but they also believe in offering access to sport and vocational activities as part of their courses.
