We work closely with a local Fareham Secondary School who are looking for a Geography Teacher for September. The role is full time, although part time job shares would be considered.

Payment to scale for Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status.

Responsibilities:

• Experience of Teaching Humanities to GCSE level
• Shorter term planning will be required, and PPA time provided.
• The successful candidate will prove they are effective collaborators with all staff, and visitors.
• Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of safeguarding.
• To actively contribute towards a positive culture within the school.
• Taking responsibility for your personal Health and Safety at work, reporting concerns.
• Being committed to an ‘opportunities for all’ culture.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
• DBS Enhanced Disclosure
• Teaching References
• A passion for teaching, and good knowledge of the subject area, to help maintain standards
• To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals
• Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
• Have the ability to engage all students
