We are currently recruiting for an HLTA. As a higher-level teaching assistant (HLTA) you would be responsible to manage classroom behaviour, whilst ensuring pupils remain on task, completing the work that has been set. This is a long-term role working with one of our partner schools.

Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant ( HLTA )

Location: North London

Salary Scale: 95- 110

Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• As a HLTA you will lead lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Provide high-level support to teachers, assisting in planning, preparation, and assessment.
• As a HLTA you will work with small groups of students, tailoring activities to meet their specific needs.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the school curriculum.
• As a HLTA you will collaborate with teachers to assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback.
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Requirements:

• Level 4 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (HLTA qualification) or experience as a HLTA.
• Proven experience as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated teaching team.
