An enthusiastic Trainer is required for our prestigious market leading and award winning, Sunday Times Fast track 100 client to deliver excellent online and classroom training at their prestigious training Centres based near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This exciting trainer role would suit a proactive training professional with excellent communication skills to work closely within the training team delivering first class training to engineers on breakthrough construction plant equipment and innovative hire plant machinery. This position is open to driven and qualified trainers who have the practical and theoretical training experience of delivering training on MHE equipment, FLT or similar construction plant equipment, hire plant machinery, heavy vehicle engineering equipment or similar. Ideally you will be CPCS qualified or have similar industry experience and training qualifications eg NVQ assessor, RTITB, FLT, MHE, LEEA etc. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified training professional to further develop their training and assessor career within the construction engineering industry, you will make your mark and this will be your passion!

The ideal trainer will have the following, experience, attributes and skills;

  • Good theoretical training experience and good classroom practical training experience
  • Similar assessor / trainer role experience- such as MHE trainer, assessor, FLT trainer, NVQ assessor, plant trainer etc experience of training on MHE, FLT, construction plant equipment, hire plant equipment
  • Training / assessor qualifications such as NVQ assessor, RTITB or similar recognised training qualifications or recognised assessor qualifications
  • Good proven training experience- experience in developing, implementing. delivering training
  • Full UK driving licence to get to other training centres and client sites when required
  • Inspirational, motivational, strong presentation, engaging training skills
  • Excellent IT, communication and interaction skills- ability to communicate, motivate, teach engineers and learners.
  • CPCS, FLT, RTITB, LEEA experience, knowledge or training (desirable)
  • CPCS Tester card or experience in an instructional role eg slinger signaller lifting operations controller, cranes, scissor lifts, telescopic handlers, powered access machinery, lifting equipment etc is of interest

My reputable client has a real passion for training and development not only of their own staff and engineers but for the engineers they work with and for clients who wish to be trained on their award winning plant equipment. They have developed award winning training centres which have been very successful with their growing portfolio of training programmes. This trainer role will be reporting into the training manager and working closely with 2 trainers in a supportive team to deliver excellent customer service and first class training to engineers, assessors and learners to use construction plant equipment safely.
