Job Title: Secondary History Teacher

Salary: Up to £180 per day

Contract Type: Full-Time (5 days a week)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary History Teacher to join our dynamic team in Teignbridge. As a History Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring and educating students, fostering a love for history and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality History lessons to secondary school students.
2. Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
3. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
4. Create and implement innovative teaching strategies to make history lessons engaging and relevant.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the history curriculum.
6. Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Specialization in History or a related field.
3. Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level.
4. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
7. Enthusiasm for professional development and a commitment to continuous improvement.
