Manaba is working closely with Primary Schools across Southampton and need KS1 & KS2 Supply Teachers for regular weekly bookings, and occasional longer term assignments.

We have a high demand for Primary Supply Teachers in this area, as well as other local areas, and are therefore looking for local Primary Teachers who can help cover bookings with an immediate start.  ECTs are also welcomed to apply.

We would like to hear from applicants who can offer both full and part time hours.

Payment to scale is also considered for longer-term assignments.

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential.

• Responsibilities include implementing the planning which will be left for the class teaching programmes.

• Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of safeguarding, ensuring any concerns are reported.

• To actively contribute towards a positive culture within the school.

• Taking responsibility for your personal Health and Safety at work, and reporting concerns.

• Being committed to an ‘opportunities for all’ culture.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• DBS Enhanced Disclosure (including those on the Update Service)

• Relevant teaching references

• To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals

• Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
