Role Overview: As a Humanities Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons across various disciplines, such as History, Geography, Religious Studies, and Citizenship. Your commitment to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the humanities will contribute to our school's mission of providing a well-rounded education.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver stimulating and inclusive lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of diverse learners, aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Engage students through innovative teaching methods, encouraging critical thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for the humanities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to promote academic growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and contribute to extracurricular activities, enhancing the overall learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects (History, Geography, Religious Studies, Citizenship) at secondary school level.
  • A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a commitment to student-centered learning.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love for the humanities.
