Responsibilities:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Managing the classroom and ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.
• Supporting students with their learning, providing assistance as needed.
• Following the school's behavior management policies.
• Collaborating with teaching staff to maintain continuity in students' education.
• Reporting back on student progress and behavior to the appropriate faculty members.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/education qualifications.
• Previous experience working within a secondary school environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to different subjects and year groups.

Position Details:

• Position: Cover Supervisor
• Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Salary: Based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
