1:1 Tuition roles available across Kent

Strategy Education are looking for qualified teachers to work 1:1 with students who are not is a school for various reasons, we are looking for teachers in the following areas Margate, Canterbury, Maidstone, Gillingham, Dartford, Ashford, Folkestone and Deal.

We are looking for both Primary (KS1 or KS2) and Secondary (KS3 or KS4) teachers to work either full or part time. The hours are flexible, and most students get 15 hours tuition per week.  

These roles are rewarding, and the primary activity is to provide an individualised education both academically and socially in the community in either a school setting, home or a designated public building such as a Library.

The majority of these students have had difficulties in a mainstream setting and may have behaviour or special needs and are likely to be working below their chronological age.

 Ideal Candidate

You must hold QTS or QTLS

Be a reflective practitioner.

Some knowledge about a range of interventions and their impact on meeting the needs of SEN students.

Experience of Autism, SEMH, ADHD or MLD in either a special needs or mainstream setting.            

Relevant training in SEN needs is desirable but not essential.                                          

The ability to help deliver creative and innovative lessons to engage the most reluctant of learners.
