At Twenty 4 Seven Education, we are looking for a Food Technology Teacher who will inspire young people with their passion for the subject! This post starts straight away in a small and caring 11-16 mixed comprehensive school in Birmingham. 

The Role

We are looking for an excellent Teacher of Food Technology who is able to begin this role immediately. You will be teaching Food Technology to students from year 7 to 11. 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a track record of success in teaching Food Technology

  • Have a flexible, aspirational and enthusiastic attitude

  • Have a passion for motivating students and improving outcomes

  • Have a desire to set high expectations, embrace change and challenge and support each other as part of a highly committed team

What do you need?

The candidate:

· Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

· Experienced in teaching KS3 and KS4 schools

· Strong Classroom management

· Good communication

· Have a valid DBS check or are willing to process one with ourselves

What we are looking for:

· Real passion for education and learning

· Adaptable and reliable

· Flexible and confident individual, who has a creative approach to teaching.

· Have experience of teaching within the UK curriculum; minimum 6 months
