We are seeking a Teacher of Social Sciences (Psychology, Health and Social Care) with energy, intellectual capacity and determination to work across Key Stage 5, working closely with SLT, as well as other colleagues throughout KS5, to drive continuing improvement in students' progress in Social Sciences.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who can demonstrate experience of raising attainment in Social Sciences. You will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and demonstrate high aspirations for all of our students. You will be a dedicated, talented and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about Teaching and Learning, and make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people.  

The ideal candidate:

• ** Experience in working with children and young adults
• ** QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Applications made without QTS will not be considered for this role.
• ** Demonstrate positive behaviour management
• ** Good communication and organisation skills
• ** Right to work in the UK
• ** Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will have to apply for a new one
