Position Overview: The school are looking for an enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher who is not only well-versed in the subject matter but also possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, and encouraging students to explore the beauty of mathematics while developing essential problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students at various levels, ensuring the curriculum is covered effectively.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages active student participation and critical thinking.
  • Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods and materials accordingly.
  • Foster a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and encouraged to excel.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and materials.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • QTS (qualified teaching status)
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the subject matter and the ability to convey complex mathematical concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest educational trends and techniques.
