We are seeking a qualified Geography Teacher to join a dynamic team at a well-respected mainstream secondary school in the Ashford area. As a Geography Teacher, you will have the chance to shape the future of our students and contribute to their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Geography lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
  • Adapt teaching methods to cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Inspire a love for Geography and promote a deeper understanding of the subject.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and educational programs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject matter.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Dedication to student success and the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Enthusiasm for participating in school-wide initiatives and professional development.
