We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a reputable mainstream secondary school in the Ashford area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment, ensuring the continued development and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classroom activities during the short-term absence of regular teachers.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, maintaining a structured and engaging learning environment.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports student learning and behavior.
• Manage classroom resources and maintain a tidy and organized learning space.
• Assist with student inquiries and provide academic support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behavior.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in any discipline (education-related degree preferred).
• Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adaptability and a willingness to follow and implement lesson plans.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• A passion for education and a commitment to the success of young learners.
• DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one.
