Job Description: As a Computing with Mathematics Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 3-5. Your responsibilities will include teaching ICT/Computer Science and Mathematics subjects, igniting students' interest, and helping them develop a strong foundation in these areas. The ideal candidate will possess a PGCE, hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and have a genuine passion for inspiring young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in ICT/Computer Science and Mathematics, catering to the needs and abilities of students at various levels.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes active student engagement and independent thinking.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration among students.
  • Effectively use technology and resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and any concerns, in accordance with school policies.

Requirements:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge in ICT/Computer Science and Mathematics, with the ability to teach Key Stage 3-5.
  • Experience and understanding of the curriculum requirements for both ICT/Computer Science and Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective interaction with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Enthusiasm for education and a commitment to fostering students' academic progress and personal development.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, catering to diverse student needs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring efficient lesson planning and delivery.
