SEN Teaching Assistants are needed for immediate supply positions for a lovely SEN school we work with in the Morpeth area. We have SEN Teaching Assistants positions in this school with children with needs ranging from ASD, Speech and Language, MLD, SEMH and PMLD/complex needs. The school has a superb Creative Arts Hub, sensory rooms, Forrest school, swimming pool, Therapy Hut and Media suite. 

Experience in supporting children with any of the above needs would be an advantage but is not essential - a willingness to learn and engage with SEN children is the most important quality we are looking for.  If you have experience as SEN Teaching Assistant, a support worker in a residential care environment we would be keen for you to apply.

Ideally you will hold a level  2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or above although that is not essential. Posts vary from short term to long term but we require staff that are flexible and willing to learn from experienced staff at the school.

In addition, to work for us as a SEN Teaching Assistant you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
