Primary Teacher

Required from the 9th of October 2023

Travail Education are recruiting for a full time Primary Teacher to work with a great Primary School on the outskirts of Grantham to cover a maternity absence.

The Primary school is located in a rural setting and is well resourced.

The school offer a friendly and supportive working environment and has been rated as a "GOOD" school.

This is a full time contract which is expected to last initially until Christmas and possibly beyond. You will be working with a smaller than average YR5/6 class of approx. 17 pupils and you will assume the duties of a permanent member of staff to include planning, marking, assessment, parent evenings etc.

We are looking for an experienced, creative Primary Teacher that has good classroom management skills and is highly motivated with the following qualities:

• Passionate about education and pupils learning development and progress
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and standards 
• An engaging personality and teaching style
• Has high expectations
• Able to build a strong rapport with the pupils and communicate effectively
• Team player

As a Primary Teacher you can expect the following from us:

To be considered you will need the following:

PGCE or equivalent qualification

Full UK QTS

An in date Fully Enhanced DBS that is registered on the DBS Update Service

2 years of references within a similar role, preferably within upper Key Stage 2
