Hydro-X is a leading provider of fire compliance training and services, specialising in fire protection and safety. We are currently seeking a skilled Fire door Trainer to join our team in Sheffield.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training on fire protection systems and specifically fire doors to our clients. You will work closely with the Hydro-X Training Manager to develop and deliver high-quality training programs.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver training programs on fire protection systems and fire doors to our clients.
  • Ensure that training materials and content are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients on fire door installation, inspection, maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct hands-on practical training sessions to demonstrate proper procedures for fire door inspection, maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the Hydro-X Training Manager to continually improve training materials and delivery methods.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in fire protection and fire doors.

Essential Requirements for the position:
  • Prior experience as a Fire Trainer or Fire Engineer with a focus on fire protection systems.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in fire doors, including installation, inspection, maintenance and repairs.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively deliver training to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire protection or related fields.
  • Full UK Driving License to travel to client sites as required.
