As an Art teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring students' creativity and fostering their passion for the arts. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering engaging and innovative art lessons, managing classroom behavior, assessing and monitoring student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and innovative art lessons to students
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular projects and activities
  • Foster creativity and encourage students to express their ideas through various art forms
  • Organize and participate in art exhibitions, competitions, and field trips
  • Stay up-to-date with current practices and developments in art education

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching art in a primary or secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for art
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
  • Creativity and a passion for the arts
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in art education.
