Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons following the school's curriculum guidelines
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles
  • Evaluate and review student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate further improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior
  • Participate in staff development activities and stay updated with current educational practices and technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and self-improvement
