In this position, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons in Art and Design Technology. • Plan and deliver high-quality Art and Design Technology lessons in line with the school's curriculum guidelines.
• Inspire and engage students in the subject, fostering a love for art and creativity.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and collaboration.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate cross-curricular projects and activities.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular art programs and events, such as exhibitions and showcases.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior.

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Art or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching Art and Design Technology at the primary or secondary level.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for Art and Design Technology.
• Ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and supports all students.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and resources.
