Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive RE lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of all students
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage their growth
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience of students
  • Plan and participate in extracurricular activities, such as school trips and events, to foster a well-rounded educational experience
  • Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, achievements, and behavior, and communicate with parents/guardians as necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with educational developments and implement best practices in teaching methodologies

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the RE curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality RE lessons to students of various abilities and backgrounds
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
