Wayman Group is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a brilliant school in Camden starting in April. Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive drama lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Foster students' creativity, confidence, and self-expression through drama activities and performances.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' performance, progress, and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create enriching cross-curricular projects and performances.
  • Organize and coordinate drama clubs, productions, and other extracurricular activities.
  • Support and guide students in preparing for drama examinations or assessments.

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Drama Education.
  • Proven experience in teaching Drama to primary or secondary students.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Passion for drama education and a commitment to nurturing students' creativity and self-confidence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and deliver engaging lessons and manage extracurricular activities.
