We are seeking a dedicated Senior Early Years Teacher to join our thriving independent pre-prep school in the heart of Hampstead.

The Role:

As our Senior Early Years Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in leading classroom learning and guiding your team to deliver engaging, high-quality early years education with a clear focus on preparing children for their 4+ assessments. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure best practices are maintained and children flourish both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a class of children aged 3–4, preparing them for successful 4+ assessment outcomes
• Support and mentor classroom staff to ensure excellence in teaching and learning
• Develop and deliver creative, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Track pupil progress and tailor teaching approaches to individual needs
• Build strong, supportive relationships with parents and carers
• Contribute to curriculum planning and whole-school development

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 6 qualification in Early Years (essential)
• QTS or PGCE (essential)
• Sound and proven understanding of 4+ Assessments and the admissions process to leading prep schools (desired)
• Previous experience in an Early Years or Reception classroom setting
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• A nurturing, enthusiastic, and flexible approach
