Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support students' learning and development, ensuring that all pupils have access to a high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities:

Student Support: Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives and support their academic progress.

Classroom Assistance: Collaborate with teachers to prepare and maintain a conducive learning environment, including setting up resources and supporting classroom management.

Special Educational Needs (SEN): Provide targeted support to students with special educational needs, implementing individualized strategies to facilitate their learning.

Progress Monitoring: Observe and record students' performance, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the assessment process.

Inclusive Environment: Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom, encouraging student engagement and fostering a sense of belonging.
Person Specification:
Essential:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:

Relevant qualifications in education or child development.
