Job Title: Year 5 Primary Teacher (temp to perm)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30, term time only

Are you an enthusiastic teacher looking for a new challenge? We’re seeking a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join our vibrant 3 form entry, Ofsted good, mainstream primary school in Hendon after February Half-Term. This temp-to-perm role offers the chance to make a real impact on our students’ learning journey, with the potential for a permanent position.
The Role:
You’ll deliver inspiring lessons that engage and challenge our Year 5 students, helping them develop critical thinking skills and a love for learning. This role provides the opportunity to build lasting relationships and potentially move into a permanent position after the temporary contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons for Year 5
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school-wide activities
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Year 5 (preferred but not essential)
- Passionate about inspiring and engaging students
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
