Salary: £90-£100

CERT Solutions seeks a PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive special school in Sutton Coldfield.

About the Role:

• Supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) in a specialist setting.
• Assisting with personal care, communication, and sensory-based learning activities.
• Working closely with teachers and therapists to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Using alternative communication methods such as PECS and Makaton.

Requirements:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with SEN students, ideally with PMLD or complex needs.
A caring and patient approach, with a passion for helping children thrive.
The ability to work collaboratively in a team.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
