About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the needs of all learners.
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative learning community.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning space.
• Support pupils in developing key literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Differentiate lessons to accommodate varying abilities, ensuring all pupils are challenged and supported.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and training sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
• A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A passion for inspiring young learners and fostering a love of education.
• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching, ensuring lessons are engaging and inclusive.
