About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated RE teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students at various key stages, fostering a deeper understanding of different faiths, beliefs, and worldviews. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons that meet the curriculum requirements and challenge students to think critically.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged and supported to explore their beliefs and values.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to the school's wider pastoral and extra-curricular activities.
  • Engage with colleagues, parents, and the school community to promote the value of RE education.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Fully qualified RE teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree.
  • Strong knowledge of the RE curriculum and the ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Passionate about promoting diversity, respect, and understanding within the classroom.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
