We are seeking a Tutor/Assessor for engineering apprenticeships

JOB ROLE
- To deliver Level 3 Engineering Technician - Mechanical and Electrical pathways for standard Mechatronics pathway and level 3 maintenance and operations engineering technician (MOET)
- Deliver Level 2 Foundation Competence.
- Deliver Level 3 Development Competence.
- Level 3 Development Knowledge
- Delivering via face-to-face sessions in the classroom/workshop environment
- Complete guidance and mock end point assessments to ensure learners are ready for independent assessment
- Embed Mathematics and English
- To coach and mentor learners
- To work with a caseload of learners
- Inspire and motivate learners to achieve qualifications on time
- Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development
- Produce reports based on KPIs
ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE
- A UK recognised teaching qualification such as Cert ed, CTTS/DTTLS etc or assessor qualified such as TAQA, AVA, A1, D32/D33
- Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism
