Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Ormskirk
Position Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: ASAP
Tradewind Recruitment is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic and supportive specialist school in Ormskirk. This is a full-time, long-term role, starting immediately, with the potential for permanency.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff.
- Leading small groups or whole-class sessions when required.
- Supporting students with additional needs to achieve their educational goals.
- Collaborating with teachers to assess and monitor student progress.
- Contributing to the development of tailored education plans.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs in a school setting.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- A proactive and positive approach to challenges.
- A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
