Expectations of a teaching assistant | 

• Assisting classroom activities with students
• Making sure students focus on the assignments given by a permanent member of staff/department at the school
• Facilitating the completion of low level tasks by clearly conveying instructions to the students
• Ensuring that all necessary materials for the lesson are prepared and accessible as a teaching assistant
• Maintaining student conduct during lessons to foster a supportive learning atmosphere
• Gathering finished teaching assistant assignments at the end of the session and submitting them to the relevant person at the school

Requirements of teaching assistant | 

• Degree equivalent, minimum 2:2 grade
• Great time-keeping, can arrive to school on time, self-assured, well-organised, and tactful
• Willing to undertake online teaching assistant training
