We have a fantastic full-time position available in a mainstream primary school in Accocks Green, starting immediately. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of an amazing school community, known for its supportive environment and commitment to excellence in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full teaching responsibilities for a Year 5 class, including planning, preparation, and assessment of students
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting students’ academic and personal development
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the school's curriculum and ethos
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers
Requirements:
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2), particularly Year 5
- Experience working in a UK school setting (essential)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
