Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of SEMH and specifically complex attachement, ASC , ADHD and behavioural difficulties.
Duties
- Assist in educating and supporting individuals with autism and other special educational needs
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
-- Collaborate with the class teacher to create engaging learning activities
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for the student
- Support classroom management and ensure a safe learning environment
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are desirable but not essential
