Position Overview:
As a Teacher of MFL, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring students to explore and appreciate the richness of different cultures through the study of languages. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Modern Foreign Languages.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding.
- Foster a dynamic and interactive classroom environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the MFL department.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to language studies.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of obtaining it.
- Fluent in the language(s) you will be teaching.
- Successful completion of an enhanced background (DBS) check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional qualifications in education or language teaching.
- Experience in teaching Modern Foreign Languages at various levels.
- Familiarity with language teaching methodologies and resources.
