We are a leading Recruitment Agency that focuses on Long-term and permanent employment within the education sector. Due to our continued growth, we are currently looking for a talented Humanities Teacher to join a secondary school within their dynamic faculty.

Responsibilities:

· Plan and deliver high-quality humanities lessons that captivate and engage students.

· Teach a range of subjects within the humanities curriculum, such as history, geography, sociology, and more

· Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities

· Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and empathy through the exploration of human societies and cultures

· Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected

· Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, Sociology, or a related humanities field (PGCE or QTS preferred)

· Proven experience teaching humanities subjects at the secondary level

· Strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring students to explore the complexities of human society

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

· Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom

· Dedication to continuous professional development and improvement in teaching practice
