Teaching Assistants required for Kings Lynn Norfolk - September 2024
Strategy Education are looking for 2-3 Teaching Assistants for a specialist alternative provision based in Kings Lynn Norfolk.
The school caters for students from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4.
This opportunity is to work with students who have challenging behaviour, barriers to learning and in some cases Autism and/or ADHD.
These roles are full time and are class-based position working closely with students with SEMH, ADHD and Autism and you will be working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, with plenty of excellent support from the leadership team.
Actual salary is between £18,000 to £19,000 per year (Full time equivalent is £21,988)
Person Specification
Passionate and empathetic individual
Non-Judgemental
Previous experience of working with children/young people with challenging behaviour, Autism or ADHD in a SEN school or a mainstream setting
Excellent knowledge of behaviour management strategies
Excellent communication skills
De-escalation training an advantage but not essential as the school offer CPD.
