Nursery Practitioner - Nursery Nurse Level 2 /3

Location: East Croydon

Salary: £22k -25k (Level 2) £25K - £30k (Level 3) per year

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 8 hour shift Monday - Friday

Are you a compassionate and caring individual who would like to work with children as a nursery practitioner or nursery nurse? Are you reliable and punctual?

Our client is recruiting for a nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse for an independent Day Nursery located in East Croydon, just a minutes walk from Sandilands tram stop. We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic team players to join our lovely team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Monitor and supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with personal care tasks such as diaper changing and toilet training
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery space
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

Qualifications:

- Level 2 or 3 in Early years, cache or equivalent
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)

• Level 2 Nursery Nurse - paying up to £25,000
• Level 3 Nursery Nurse - paying up to £25k £30k (depending on experience)
