Are you a meticulous individual with a passion for creating a clean and safe environment? Join our team as a School Caretaker and play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our secondary school based in Stafford.

Responsibilities:

  • General Cleaning: Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure a tidy and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash receptacles, replace garbage bags, and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Surface Care: Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces for a clear and spotless appearance.
  • Common Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and elevators, enhancing the overall school environment.
  • Adherence to Procedures: Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to promote a healthy and secure setting.
  • Reporting: Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to the supervisor for timely resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and effective use of cleaning equipment.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members for seamless collaboration.
  • Physical Stamina: Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.
