SEND Teaching Assistant

Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in DH6, County Durham to assist them to find a One to One Teaching Assistant to support them ASAP.
The role is to work one to one with a child with a variety of needs and the candidate must be available until Summer 2025 at least as it is important that the child has consistency.
Responsibilities
- Supporting a primary child with SEND needs who is currently awaiting an EHCP and Autism diagnosis
- Extra support during lessons, with feeling and self care
- Working independently with one child
- To use own initiative and take the lead
Requirements
- Confident and experienced in working with a child on a one to one basis
- Level 2 Qualification
- Provide 2 references, preferably from an educational background
- To hold or put in process an enhanced DBS disclosure
