Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Durham City Centre to assist them to find a SEND Teaching Assistant to support them ASAP.

The role will be working one to one with a child in Reception with a range of SEND who needs extra support alongside the current TA This role is available until Summer 2025 at least and will involve you working 5 days a week, 08.30 - 15.30.
 

Responsibilities

·Working within KS1 of the school every afternoon to support a child one to one

·Recording evidence of child meeting targets

·Using own initiative to take the lead and to change activity plans if needed

Requirements

·Level 2 qualifications 

·Ability to provide 2 x educational based references

·Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children

·Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge

·Good behaviour management
